This product that is applied to the seed as a talc has shown some pretty good results on tilled ground. Those of you who have some knowledge of biologicals, do you think there is anything that could be harmful to soil microbes if I try it on a long term no-till field. If I try it will be in a split planter application so I can see if there is any ROI.
I am very skeptical of these products but have seen some data from what I feel is replicable source that has shown positive results.
All I know is some of the biological gurus say they would not apply trichoderma. I have heard that trichoderma help decompose organic matter at a higher rate and this is why there is a faster nutrient release. I have also been told eventually other microbes will consume the trichoderma. Probably worth a try on as many acres you can risk.
