We have a five way sedan/sorghum/millet mix that I was going to partially bale graze, swath graze and leave some intact standing for grazing and wind protection/snow catch. Any thoughts or suggestions? Especially on Swath Grazing. It did not freeze and is still green and growing and we got 4 inches of rain last week so the potential is there…

I also should’ve said it is a 200 acre field and there is a water tank on the north end and on the south end basically right in the middle
I would like to bring the cows into this mix before weaning for a few weeks to have the Calves gain as much as possible during this time of year. Thoughts on that as well if we should wait or turn them in…

We did however get all the crops planted except Sunflowers and at least we’ll have a lot of grass for the cows😊 even planted some corn green into rye

Got to Love 50+mph winds, 4.5 inches+ of rain in 24 hrs, thankful for the rain but holy buckets the wind is brutal
