Valerie Riter is the District Conservationist with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) in Sturgis, South Dakota. Her service area includes Southern Meade County/Elk Creek Conservation District.
Prior to her current role, Valerie worked as Area Agronomist and Soil Conservationist in Sturgis and spent time with NRCS in Montana. She has a wide range of experience working with different types of agricultural operations.
